Who is the Main Character in Harry Potter?

To most people, this answer would be obvious. Harry Potter. But are these people right?

     I've done some thinking, and I think I've finally come up with the honest, true, and absolutely legit main character of Harry Potter. Sorry guys, but the real main character of Harry Potter, is not Harry Potter. No, it's someone who doesn't even attend Hogwarts. The real main character is Tom Riddle.

     No, not Tom Marvolo Riddle, the guy in desperate need of a nose. Tom Riddle Senior, Lord Voldemort's father (You should know it is taking all of my will not to insult Voldemort, since it would be rather rude to insult a dead person, even if he was evil).

     How? Well, think about it. If Tom Riddle Senior hadn't been so handsome, he wouldn't have attracted Merope. And if Merope hadn't been attracted to him, she wouldn't have made him fall in love with her. And if they hadn't fallen in 'love (potion)', they wouldn't have had Voldemort. And if Merope hadn't had Voldemort, she wouldn't have taken the potion off of Riddle. And if she hadn't taken the potion off, Riddle wouldn't have left. And if Riddle hadn't left, Merope wouldn't have died. And if Merope hadn't died, Voldemort wouldn't have gone evil. And if he hadn't gone evil, he wouldn't have killed Lily and James. And if he hadn't killed Lily and James, he wouldn't have moved on to Harry. And if he hadn't moved on to Harry, he wouldn't have given him the scar. And if he hadn't given Harry the scar, Harry wouldn't have been famous!

     So you see, Harry is just the attraction of the stories. For all we care, it could be told from Ernie Macmillan or Penelope Clearwater's point of view. TOM RIDDLE IS STILL THE MAIN CHARACTER.

Shadowbolts Revenge

Hey everyone! I wanted to talk to you guys about a MLP fan fiction I'm writing called Shadowbolts Revenge.(It's about the Shadowbolts and their revenge on the Equestrians.)

Nightshade is furious with the Mane Six after Rainbow Dash refused to be their captain. She feels that the Shadowbolts are truly the best fliers in Equestria, and that the Wonderbolts are nothing but bragging upstarts. She's been able to hold her anger back, but when the Wonderbolts accepted Rainbow Dash into the Wonderbolts Reserves, they crossed the line and the Shadowbolts felt that that was the last straw.
Desperate for revenge, the Shadowbolts seek other ponies with grudges against the Wonderbolts and the Mane Six.

I won't give any spoilers, but I do want to ask if any of you are willing to do voice acting for the characters. To audition, all you need to do is to say something your character would say, and send it to me via email (myahfan@gmail.com). If you don't know what you character would say, just do your best imitation of him/her.

Preparing and Expecting

Preparing and Expecting

Have you ever had that time when you were preparing for something and expecting it with a bunch of backup plans and stuff? And then suddenly, boom; it's here. And you just feel stunned, surprised, and shocked.

Perhaps that wasn't the best way to describe things. I'll give you an example using. . . Christmas.

You spend hours putting up the decorations and tree, wrapping gifts, baking dinner, etc., etc.

Then suddenly Christmas comes. You don't know what to do. You spent so much time preparing for Christmas that you adapted to preparing and all that time spent preparing just goes flies out the window.

I'll use summer vacation as another example.

You're at school, and you're really excited, talking to your friends, attending end-of-the-year celebrations and graduation ceremonies. Finally, finally, it's the last day of school; you're more than happy to  leave your studies behind. But the next day you wake up and start getting ready for school when you remember: Hey, it's summer vacation, and I'm supposed to be in bed, not putting Basic Algebra Grade Two in my backpack.

Then you just fell really weird.

See what I mean? It's easy to think you're preparing for something, but not so easy to accept that you're actually just adapting to thinking you're preparing.

(In my opinion, this just shows that human beings aren't as adapted as we could be.)

So think about this as you're buying back to school supplies. Don't set your alarm clock for six o' clock the day before school starts when you've grown used to waking up at ten. Don't panic and start buying academic supplies a week before school starts. Don't forget your new schedule under a three-foot high pile of dirty summer laundry and freak out when you don't know where to go on day one.

Summer, Christmas, spring, and weekends are just minuscule breaks in the eternal donkey-cart of time and life. Your life will carry on, but time won't stop. School will come. Graduation will come. Marriage will come. Birth will come. Death will come.

It'll happen over and over again. You can't stop time.

So don't pretend to prepare. Actually prepare. It's pretty important to your life and future.

P.S., if you thought this wasn't exactly the cheeriest thing I've ever written, it doesn't matter. Just don't bombard me with 'You are a ray of sunshine' sarcasm comments, please.
