Fair Thee Blonde Maiden

A poem by me.

Fair Thee Blonde Maiden

Fair thee blonde Maiden,
I shall ask.
Fair thee blonde maiden,
what be your task?

Fair thee blonde  maiden,
away you go.
Fair thee blonde maiden,
For you run daintily so.

Fair thee blonde maiden,
with hair so fine.
A strand of silk’s
mouth sets in a line.

Fair thee blonde maiden!
Oh look at me!
Fair thee blonde maiden,
what shall it be?

A veil of light?
A golden rose?
What shall make you gaze
upon me,
with eyes so bright?

Fair thee blonde maiden!
Gaze upon me!
My love for you.
Glows steadily.

Fair thee blonde maiden!
Your eyes as blue,
as the morning sky
and the midnight moon.

Fair thee blonde maiden
your skin aglow.
Smooth and  rosy,
softer than snow.

Fair thee blonde  maiden!
Fair thee blonde maiden!
Oh look at me!
My love for you beats steadily.

Fair thee blonde maiden!
with hair so fine.
Come down to see me.
If you must, climb down a vine.

Fair thee blonde maiden!
What do you want?
Perhaps a fairy godmother,
with a silver  wand?

Fair thee blond maiden!
Fair thee blond maiden!
What shall it be then?

A silver corsage,
a nightingale song?
Oh please my sage
Please come and see me!
